Hello out there in blog land, If you are coming to my class tomorrow at Sir stampalot this is one of the things you will be making, you are maybe thinking that you have seen this one before, you would be right, but it really is quite different, same box with easel just a different layout. I have shrunk just about everything including the whole row of cottages stamp. hope you like .
just a little something else to show you which I have photographed this evening , we just found this wasps nest in my sons play shed, how can something so awful as a wasp make something as intricate as this.

Oh Chris this is one awesome box easel card the colours and images are so beautiful just wish I lived close enough then I could have come to your class. Oh dear I love Bumble Bees even stroked them but wasps are a different kettle of fish altogether they make me shudder I hate them.

This is a gorgeous project Chris, I wish I could come and make one. I love the colours and the stamps you have used, the cottages look so real. The little fence is great, for me it really sets it all off.
Love your pic of the wasp nest, they are amazing aren't they.
You have a brilliant weekend too, I shall be down in Swanage.
Take care. Luv Brenda xxx

Hi Chris, lovely box with easel it's gorgeous, the colours are great together I think that you are going to have some pleased crafters at your class tomorrow.
Don't you just hate/love those wasps? Last year we went up in the loft and found 5 sites where the darn things had started to make nests, such tenacity. I'm so glad that we discovered them and got rid of them but the creation of the paper to make the nests and the way they construct them is amazing. Have a good weekend :) xx
wow Chris love the easel box .. wish i was coming along.
re the wasps nest .. about 4 years ago i was mowing the lawn and disturbed a wasps nest that was in a bush ( didn't see it of course) ... i was stung 17 times on my arms and tummy - i even had to pull some of the wasps off me! It was really painful and itchy for days . I was all alone and i just wanted a hug lol!
The most amazing thing i dicovered was the best cream to relieve the pain and itching was Hemorrhoid cream!!! My daughter was mortified and said she would disown me if i owned up to owning a tube .... oops guess thats me disowned!
Thought you might need that handy hint one day lol
Have a great day tomorow
Lisa ;)

Brilliant card - hope the class goes well. The wasp's nest look magnificent just a shame they are stingy insects. Hope your son is ok?
Really looking forward to our 'retreat' in Oct. I'm not into altered items much - I'm into card making and scrap booking - wouldn't mind some brayering as I've not done that so don't know the technique.
have a great weekend
