Its a Beautiful Day

First of all don't forget to enter Our Sir Stampalot Challenge the theme is Autumn breezes, buttons and bow(s)
scroll down to see the amazing prize this month, or click on the link.

This is something my lovely ladies made on Monday night when I did an SU party, This is as near to a mans card as I get, I hate making Men's cards but really enjoyed making this, I think its suitable for male or female.
just feel there is a bit of a gap top left hand side but buttons where to big as this card only measures 3  1/2"  X  2  1/2"
any suggestions welcomed.

The linen thread bow is just hiding the word friends which is stamped from Tiny tags and the pheasant and all the gorgeous leaves and grasses are from the stamp set called AUTUMN DAYS.  I have used the small jewelry tag to punch out the tag.
everything on the card is using SU products even down to the inks.

sorry I haven't been around so much still not feeling myself, and have got a poorly boy at home today, hence why I have managed to post something, cant do the hoovering or the dusting makes to much noise!!! Any excuse!!

Hi Chris

It's perfect as it is, I think the empty space sets of the pheasant perfectly. Big and Juice Spice I imagine ?

I did try and ring you yesterday to see how you were, then today been unable to as the power went early and is only just back. Phone was working but can't access the phonebook without power !

I try you shortly.

HI Chris
I don't think the space needs filling either - it gives it an open feel and distance - just is if the pheasant was in a field??
Love the stamps and colours you have used and those tags are super cute on it, and yes definitely for a man.
Hope you get rid of this thing that's pulling you down real soon.
Take care and look after yourself.

Chris , I hope you and you youngster are soon better .
Now if I were to add anything to white space above fowl it would be a light tan leaf cut out and slightly curled and adhered about 2nd scallop down and 2nd green leaf in just a litle higher than the darker leaf above fowl's head .
But having prattled on the card is devine as is .

So sorry to hear you've been under the weather - hope you are back to full health soon. xx

It's gorgeous Chris, just the way it is. It's hard to believe it's so small, you've set everything out in such perfect proportion.

Coincidentally I received a Pheasant stamp in the post today from Clarity Stamps - you've given me lots of inspiration to work with :)

Really hope you manage to lift yourself out of the doldrums (and your son too). I'm feeling rather blue myself since my son went off to Uni - didn't think I would miss him this much.

Take care,

Sue
